The Parish Clerk – David Hansford can provide copies of past Parish Council meetings. He is normally available in the Parish Office situated next to the Information Centre in Modbury Court from 10.00am to 1.00pm on Mondays. OLYMPIC TORCH

Just a reminder that the Olympic Torch passes through Modbury between 09:00 and 09:45 on this Sunday morning. The route is the main road between New Mills Industrial Park and the Modbury sign on the Kingsbridge side of town on the A379. The sponsors truck, loaded with free flags etc, will be running about 20 minutes ahead of the Torch itself, which is scheduled to leave New Mills at 09:26 but DON’T rely on it running exactly to time.

If you, or somebody you know, would like to join a collection of ‘Olympic hopefuls’ on Palm Cross Green to provide the Torch and Press their first impressions of the Town, then please be there by 08:55 dressed to take part in an Olympic event – think of it as a fancy dress party with an Olympic Sport theme.
